On Saturday, September 10, 2005, a historical re-enactment of the Peace Arch Park's dedication will take place. Hosted by the United States Canada Peace Anniversary Association (USCPAA), this should be a terrific event.

Radio-Canada and some other francophone media report that the NDP alliance has terminated:Le chef du Nouveau Parti démocratique, Jack Layton, a confirmé au quotidien Le Devoir, que l'alliance entre sa formation politique et les libéraux de Paul Martin était terminée.So far, I haven't seen English-language MSM stories on this.
