CBC News reports on a deadly protest in Nigeria earlier today: " Nigerian Muslims killed 15 people and burned at least 11 churches on Saturday in the country's first violent protests over caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, police say . Polish media have reported that Iran wishes to send "researchers" to Poland to examine the scale of the Nazi crimes during the war. These "researchers" would visit Auschwitz-Birkenau and other Nazi death camps in Poland, purportedly to determine the whereabouts of millions of European Jews. "Under no circumstances we should allow something like that to take place in Poland," according to Polish Foreign Minister Staffan Meller . "It goes beyond all imaginable norms to question, even discuss or negotiate the issue." IranMania further quotes unnamed management officials of the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum as stating: "People who deny that people died in the gas chambers, who profane the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, will not be admitted to Auschwitz-Birkenau." Liberal Party lobbyist and self-styled bigwig Warren Kinsella is suing the Ottawa Watch blog alleging libel. In doing so, Mr. Kinsella - who runs his own blog catering to devotees of his peculiar brand of politics - is irresponsibly abusing the judicial process. By virtue of his high visibility in Canadian politics and media - including having served in some Government capacities - Mr. Kinsella is a public figure. As a public figure who has been actively involved in recent political discussions, it is expected that he will attract various kinds of criticism and scrutiny. However, Mr. Kinsella believes he should be exempt from any public criticism and scrutiny because .... he doesn't like it. Perhaps Mr. Kinsella needs to grow up. Based on results, Mr. Kinsella has chosen the cheap shot "low road" of declaring war on Mr. Bourrie and Ottawa Watch through the courts.
